Hi! I'm Angie!
I’m Angie Magallanes, the baker, wife, mama, and creative mind behind Bake It By Angie.
Before anything else, I’m a wife and a mom of two, and those two little humans (and my husband) are my whole world. I’m also a military wife and a U.S. Army veteran, having served almost a decade before deciding to hang up my boots and trade them in for an apron. I hold a B.S.W. from Indiana University, and I’m originally from Lafayette, Indiana, though life has taken me all over the East Coast before officially landing in Clarksville, Tennessee, just outside of Fort Campbell.
I started Bake It By Angie in my home kitchen in Indiana with nothing but a tiny hand mixer, a bowl, and a need for an outlet after having my first daughter. I was freshly postpartum, exhausted, and searching for something that was just mine, and somehow, that something became baking. What began as a creative escape turned into my passion, my purpose, and eventually, my full-time business.
I’m the owner and founder of Bake It By Angie, LLC, completely self-taught, fueled by curiosity, determination, and a ridiculous sweet tooth. Every recipe that our bakery produces has been developed by me, through countless rounds of trial and error, late nights, and a lot of learning along the way. My mission has always been to create cookies that aren’t just delicious, but fun, nostalgic, and full of personality, cookies that make you smile the second you open the box.
As the business has grown, so has our little bakery family. What began as a one-woman operation now includes a mighty, talented team of women who pour their hearts into every batch. They’ve helped turn Bake It By Angie from a home kitchen dream into a full-scale operation, and none of this would exist without them.
Outside the bakery (which isn’t often), you can usually find me reading, going to the gym, networking with other entrepreneurs, hanging out with my kiddos, or drinking way too much coffee. I love connecting with people who are passionate, driven, and creative, people who chase big dreams and aren’t afraid to fail a few times getting there.
My community has been the heart of this journey. From those first local orders to Nationwide shipping, every message, tag, and repeat customer has helped this dream grow. You’ve been part of this story since day one, and for that, I’ll forever be grateful.
At the end of the day, Bake It By Angie is more than just cookies. It’s a reminder that the best things in life are made from scratch, with passion, a little chaos, and a lot of heart.

It was all a dream, and the perfect combination of flour, sugar, and chocolate. After becoming a new mom while navigating the world of COVID, Angie (CEO) set out to create the best chocolate chip cookie the world had ever seen. After much trial and error, wasted money, and weeks in the kitchen, she finally had an "A-HA" moment. Tried and true, there it was- the best chocolate chip cookie known to man-kind. She used that recipe as inspiration and began to create endless flavors of cookies. What started off as your "standard" cookie eventually turned into 1/2 pound cookies stuffed with desserts you could only dream of- because "go big or go home" right? What was once a "one man show" eventually grew into a team of cookie monsters quite literally dedicating their lives to bring you nothing but pure magic, because- it's not just a cookie, it's an experience.
